Hello, I am totally NEW to the whole Blackberry expereince. I originally bought a 8330 with Sprint service, but the phone reception was terrible. So I went back to Nextel and got a 8350i. Biggest issue I am having with the (2) diffrent phones is that the 8330 would automatically put a web site in a form that was easy to read on my screen. The 8350i does not do this. It gives me the same screen shot as a PC would. Is there a way to set this phone to automatically view all web sites in a mobile friendly way ? Thanks for any help

do they support MMS? are your taking your picts too large?

also if they are on verizon, there are known issues with the way the networks talk...

Hi all. Im a newbie and just got my bb8350i yesterday... first one ever. Im on the nextel network. Im trying to figure out the easiest way to:

Open the GPS Nav (yes I have the service)

    Call voicemail (!)

Quickest way to send a text message - should it be sent as an MMS?

Change the format of videos so, when emailed, they will be in a format recognized by my computer (.mov, .mpg, .avi, etc)

Also, why are recent calls also shown in the messages folder?

Sorry, I could go on and on. Ive been reading the forums for a while now and theres is so much great content its hard to find it all! Thanks for putting up with me.

1} assign it to your convenience key
    2}hold down the 1 key
3}recent calls can be removed by: pressing the green talk button once>pressing the menu key>scroll down to options and select it by pressing trackball>scolling to call logging and selecting with trackball> choose what types of calls you'd like to be logged in messages!
4}choose the contact from your phone book+menu key+scroll to mms contact and select it. type and send. or dial the number then press the menu button and select mms number and type and send.
5}get a 3gp codec so you dont have to convert!

    Crackheads Return!

Thanks for this topic, it is very helpful! Being a long time Nextel/Sprint customer, my old phones were bricks like the i530, i550 and the i580......pure garbage. Upgrading to the 8350i was the best move I made in my last seven years with Nextel. I don't feel like a cave man anymore.

When I try to enter new account on my computer, it keeps coming back that I can't do it on HTML and that I have to do from my device. When I looked under options, I do have numerous service books. It that correct?

Generally, it can't be done. There may be some 3rd party software that will work.
