    here it is:

available for preorder shipping out dec. 23rd. It's $45 but only extends it 15% stock size though so bulging back replacement.

    Who's getting it?

Yea, I can't decide. They are working on an even larger extended battery. It will probably need a new back though. However, if it's more than 50% increase I may wait for that

I was gonna purchase an extra battery anyway, probably in Jan. It's the same price as the regular BB Storm battery so looks like I'll be getting one

I was really excited for this battery because I was experiencing poor battery life, but with some adjustments and time it has become 20 times better. So I think I might do some heavy use (music, internet, phone, etc.) and see if it can withstand a full day under those conditions.

If not, then I'm definitely going to get this because I plan on using my phone as a multimedia device for trips on the plane and working out. Thanks for letting us know!

Was hoping for more than a 15% jump, but I guess thats not bad considering it doesn't require a new battery cover. I wonder if there will be one down the road that bulges slightly but offer closer to a 50% jump??

Yeah, I want to put movies on the device as well, but haven't had much time to figure that out yet! I can't wait because the sample trailer looks amazing on the phone.

thats how to put dvd's on your storm

If you have a downloaded movie, you just need to drag and drop into your memory card

If you buy the super extended one, it will make alot of other accessories (cases mostly) incompatible with the storm.

I really dont want to ad bulk to this device. I wonder how I could hint for this as a Christmas gift.

15% is nothing. Adjust your settings and buy a car charger instead. My battery can handle 12 hours of pretty heavy use and easily more than double that for light use without recharging.

I would disagree. 15% can really help out some people who only need it to last another hour or two. Keep in mind that it will also give you a second battery. So for people who want to keep a spare battery on them will have the option to quickly swap and have a full battery instantly.

I am a tad bit disappointed with it only being 15%. I am hoping that in the future a higher % regular size battery will be released.

Just pre-ordered mine. 15% with my current battery, GREAT. Now I will have a second battery as well. Just waiting now for a good charging cradle that charge both at the same time.

We already have a thread about the extended battery. Why the **** do we need another one? This forum gets worse and worse with people making 20 threads of the same subject.

I was also really hoping for 30%. I guess 15% will still buy an extra hour of flycast or moodio, so i'm in.
A separate charger or pod with a separate slot is definitely needed.

I'll use some Christmas Money on this perhaps. I'd still like to see a cradle that has a slot for the spare battery so i could keep one charged at all times

This might be a good choice for those willing to use 2 batteries. Keep the original, plus this 1 and get double battery life PLUS 15%.
