Seidio Innocase has saved my Storm twice in 2 weeks. First, I dropped it on its edge from 4 - 5 feet onto a tile floor. Knocked the Seidio case open, but the Storm was unscathed.
Yesterday was potentially more serious. In the bathroom and the Storm fell off my belt and directly into the toilet. It took a few hours to dry out, but the case prevented a lot more water from getting into the circuitry. Funny thing, my battery is lasting 2 x as long today for some reason.
Gross! But it happens. It just happened to my wife's iPhone last week. Embrace the healing powers of dry rice. Put it in a tupperware with some rice which will draw out remaining moisture. I also understand that silica gel is good for this, but I find rice to be much more accessible. Bottom line is that her phone is up and running with nothing but bad memories of toilet bowl experience...
