Modified Otterbox Defender - Removed the plastic sheet that comes with it and just put a screen protector on it. The plastic sheet was affecting my already pathetic typing.
I got a pair of silicone cases too just in case I wanted something different. One with everything covered including the keys.. One with only the back and sides covered. Don't know their names and types but I know for sure they provide some protection! Don't let your berry go naked too much eventually you will drop it or something will fall on it..
I picked up a soft lambskin "pocket pouch" on eBay. I like it because you can plug in the headphone & usb while it's in the case, unlike BlackBerry's pocket pouch.
Since I'm a girl and don't want a blackberry clipped to my belt in manly fashion (I don't wear a belt anyway) I use the leather pocket pouch to keep my bold protected from lint or dirt in my purse.
The pouch is slim and comfortable to carry around in my hand, too. Dropped it on the bathroom stall floor the other day and it kept my precious bold from harm. Can buy it cheap from Amazon. I also have a Best Skins Ever screen protector that is works great too.

That sounds good- what is it called exactly so I can look it up?
The pics looked brown to me (which is what I wanted) but it's in fact black... oh well. It's firm, like there's plastic in it, so it will have some protection if dropped, but the leather is quite soft.
I use the black iSkin as it gives an OEM blackout look without me having to spend money on parts or me opening up my Bold to give it a "different" look
