Ok so before you think I mean the whole long song, what I am referring to is the little tiny intro piece that is the first thing heard on the broadcast. It would make a great text messaging tone. To hear what I am talking about, look at this video, it plays around just before the image of the Iranian Supreme Leader at about the 16th second. I can't post a link since I'm under 10 posts, go to youtube and run a search for "cbs evening news june 19 2009". It should be the first link and read "Russ Mitchell substitutes..."
o well actually, it didn't come out on my phone very well...but thank you so much for trying...and actually ive been on cb for a while...i just never made an account...so i guess that doesnt count
o well, actually the initial problem was my fault, listening to it before downloading i could barely hear it
now that ive downloaded it and saved it, its too loud...low sounds like its high...if its too much trouble don't worry about it at all, life goes on, lol
its quieter but still too loud...is there a way i can manipulate it on my end?
and thanks kentusmc, that is actually a very cool site that I will be using in the future...it didn't have this though, it's probably a little too obscure, lol
I use a program called Audacity. Google it. Its free. Open the sound clip then go to effects>amplify. There you can lower it along with many other effects.
