Finally got my case & screen protector from amazon, YAY right? Wrong. Other than the 8gb Sandisc card that I received, and the fast shipping, the case and the screen protector were just pure garbage.

The case LITERALLY looks like it was cut out with scissors, and some holes weren't even fully finished, absolutely awful. The best part is it came with a little paper inside of the blackberry 8900 that had an old curve trackball + said 8900 CHINA. The screen protector was pretty much a piece of hard tape that wasn't even the size of my screen.

I can't even believe I spent $20 on that garbage, as soon as I ordered I looked on crackberry and saw the thread with that nice blackberry case with the logo on the back/form of 8300 and knew I've done a mistake.

Sure learned my lesson, can anyone advise me on a very good screen protector I will not regret getting? Also the 9,99 black 8900 case cb sells is the one that has the feel/form of the 8300 right?

    -Thanks.

What kind of ratings did this product have? Amazon is good about ratings yo.

No ratings = don't buy it then.

Next time buy what others can recomend with experience.

TMO silicon + Best Skins Ever is the best combo for moi.

    I bought the $10 case from cb because I've had those bb cases for my 8100/8320 and I can honestly say that they're unbelievable. As far as it goes for the screen protector, I am very mad I've spent all this money on this trash, but that doesn't change the fact that I take good care of my phone, and I've been choosing between;

RIM Blackberry 8900 Curve Skin (Javelin)

    and

Blackberry Curve 8900 Black Privacy Screen Protector from Clarivue

Not sure if it's worth spending $18 on a piece of plastic, the privacy part sounds tricky though.

People here like that (or maybe I have that confused with ClintRo ).
BSE sells sheet of 2 screen protectors for pretty cheap and they're fine too.
Make sure the top edge of the thing goes flush against the bottom of the edge. No gap.

i guess i am stupid for thinking that "privacy" screen protector was worth it, although I am still not convinced haha 2 for $10 sounds much better though, I Guess I can live with that.

    I can't decide, Anti-Glare or Ultra Clean?

    * would the anti-glare one be very noticeable on my phone?

I actually love the "best skins ever" screen protector. i've used other screen protectors and they scratch easily so you have to replace them often but these are scratch proof and depending on how protected you want your phone to be, heard the innocase 2 is the way to go for maximum protection but i use the OEM silicon covers (black and red). They look really nice unlike other knock off brands

I've tried quite a bit of cases and the one i ended up having is the Incipio case(silicone). I am very happy with it! I did buy from Amazon too.I bought a couple of those. They're 19.99 but I feel that it is worth the price. I definitely recommend Incipio.

I agree the BSE is great protection.... but after using the clarivue ones... I wont be going back to BSE....

With the BSE I did however scratch the BSE a few times, and the scratches wiped right away.
