I have seen posts about this, but want to see a more up to date poll on it.
So who uses a case on there bb? In comments you can say why or why not, and which case you do use if you want.

I use the otterbox defender series on my bold 9650, and it definitely gets the job done. is a little bulky, but is, as you'd imagine, the perfect defender to scratches and cracks.

I am tempted to give the case to my dad cause he is goin naked, and I think he need sit more than me. I have gone caseless before and the phone is pretty darn durable.

I have used a case for quite some time but i didn't liked it. The naked feel is too OP.

I sometimes have a case when I throw it in my bag, but 90% of the time it is case-less.

I have the BB leather holster and leather sleave type cases, the sleave, or whatever it's called, gets used most. Both are great imo; unless I'm using my Bold or it's on the charger it's in a case. Color me paranoid I suppose.

Case (Otterbox defender), I am sometimes in harsh environments and don't have time to baby my device. Week-ends it runs around like the day I bought it. Naked!!

Case with belt clip when in a suit & tie, Pocket pouch case when casual. Always protect your investment. My 0.02 cents...

I use the seidio 3000 battery so no case for now but when I get my case for that in the mail I'll be rocking that for awhile.

Didn't answer the poll because it doesn't have my answer...

For work, school, and everyday life my phone goes naked, it doesn't get scratches and dings because I don't be a dumba$$ with it. But when headed out on Friday and Saturday nights, working in the garage, or camping/fishing I use one of the OEM soft-shell cases (have a few different colors).

So really, it depends on what I'm doing if I case it or not.

i have the white 9900 and because its white i dont use a case
but all my black phones ive had has had a case,if my 9900 was black i would have a case

I use a case, just an OEM softshell silicone for my Tour 9630. When I get a new BB I plan to get a "real" case

For me no case. I used to use a leather pouch, but after a while it got too irritating to take it in and out. Especially if I only have one hand available. Not a fan of those snap-on cases as it adds to the bulk of the phone. Also the phone already looks better without a case.

I generally take good care of my devices, so I just have an anti glare screen protector improve readability under sunlight, and protect against scratches.

I've given up on cases for my 9800. Most of the cases made for it always seem to have that small plastic piece that covers the top slider and always seems to break WAY to easily. The small tabs that hold it on would always break so I gave up and just started going commando! I did see one I was interested in that was seemed rugged, but it's a waste of time now with all the battle scars it already has.

Thanks for the responses; I was just curious. I have had this case for so long, I took it off the other day and realized how dang slick my 9650 is without it.

I went naked with my 9800 just because cases were a pain with it. With my Curve 9300 I use an iSkin case just because the plastic just feels so cheap so having the case feel makes it feel better and more solid since the case hugs the phone tight. My 9780 has a case just to keep the back battery door white, and I just like the feeling of the case. I always chose the iSkin cases
