Anyone know of, or come across a case to carry a spare JM 1 battery in? I've been using miniature plastic zip-lock baggies, but they get tired pretty quickly. I want to keep the battery contacts as clean as possible and give the battery some protection from bending...a little hard plastic case would be perfect!
The official RIM desktop battery charger is designed to unplug and be used as a carrying case for your (now fully charged) JM-1 battery. Not that I've ever used it that way, but that's what the blurb says.
I'm using tiny ziplock bags too and they work great for me. If it helps anyone else, I found some really small ziploc bags in the pharmacy department of the store (Rite Aid) and they are designed to hold pills. They are about $2 for 30 bags or so and they last me a few weeks of pocket carry, so it's a cheap solution to protect the battery.
As for the original question by Solcopete; I've also used one of those small "coin case" things in the past. I'm talking about the kind where it's leather and you squeeze the top to open it. I carried a couple of spare batteries, my small EDC flashlight, and some Aleve in it and all fit well.
