Gosh sometimes I get sooo ticked off when things are so blatantly overpriced!

Just went to futureshop the other day to get my bold a rubber case/skin

And the price is $39.95 CAD before tax?! And on top of that, it says "Blackberry 8800" right on the box!

I bought my curve rubber skin a few months ago and it was only 15 (and there was even a 50% sale off at staples too)

    Am I just over reacting?

That is crazy! Unless it is super new and improved rubber of some sort! I bought one from Ebay for about 6 bucks U.S. with free shipping. Oh and it is OEM Blackberry.

eBay is the best place for accessories by far... I only buy in store if by some reason I have to have it that second.

It's not necessarily overpriced. I've never dealt with Canada Futureshop but if they are a new startup or the manufacturer of thier rubbers is new, they are just trying to cover their tooling costs.

Basically, they are trying to enter a market where they are sorely outnumbered.

I was in FS the other day and saw a 4gig memory card for the bold priced @ $25 + tax. I picked mine up off ebay for $10 (including shipping).
