Hey everyone, I bought another Bold to replace my old Rogers unlocked one I bought wayyy back when.

Anyway, my old Bolds bezel got beat up really bad.

I really like the Seidio Clear Hard Case, but read somewhere that it scratches the bezel.

Are there any nice cases that won't hurt my phone in any way?

I can't imagine using a case who's purpose is to keep my phone like new, and just make my phone all beat up!

So anyway, and recommendations?

I really wish that Seidio case didn't damage the bezel!

Because that's the one that supposedly scratches the bezel.

It's a shame that it does. I had my heart set on that case.

i use the OEM silicon cases, they don't scratch it...

Bold screen + back pocket = bad idea.

You're gonna need something with some screen protection.

Nah, I never sit on mine-

Bolds big enough to constantly remind me that it's there...

I just slip it out and hold it when I sit down.

Use Phantomskinz. No need to buy the case.
It will protect your BOLD nicely.
Anyway, if somehow it is scratched badly, just buy a new bezel and change it. Easy as 1, 2, 3.

I know you said you don't like silicone cases, but try the case mate cover! Its not as bad as the silicone skins, and it comes with screen protector too. You just slide your phone in. I put it I'm my front pocket all the time with no trouble at all!

Who cares if the bezel gets scratched? No, I'm really asking. Which one (s) of you people realley care about a piece of plastic that was put on another piece of plastic to keep from scratching it? The bezel is going to get scratched regardless of you best efforts, and if you keep a phone for a year or so and it never gets even the slightest blemish, well I'd hate to see the rest of your life.

Give it up, it's not worth it.

If you spent the time to order and mod your Bold or if you are just bothered easily by that kind of thing, yeah I'm pretty sure a lot of people care, particularly when you buy a case to prevent scratches and it does the opposite (which is the bottom line)...

Also it's not really going to get scratched "no matter what"...
