Pretty much change mine daily, no one specific category I stick to. Right now I've had a few Halloween wallpapers up (favorite holiday) with some breast cancer awareness mixed in. Also in the usual rotation- BlackBerry, funny/sarcastic, NHL, Yankees, Jets, USA/military, some scenery (not many) wallpapers. I have fun with it

I have Shao's Wallpaper Changer Pro, and it's set to randomly rotate walls from my WP folder every 100 minutes.
(I think it's still on sale for $2.99, or give the free one a shot first. I think the free limits you to a small amount of wps it will rotate.)

Usually go for the cityscapes and sunset type wallpapers.
Really anything that shows off the high 480x360 res of our little screens.

I like to change mine up as well! Sometimes I like to have my cute little teacup yorkie or yorkipoo up there I also really like some really HD nature wallpapers, sunsets, sunrise, beach, and every now and then I like to have some funny smartass wallpaper up! Haha. Or one of my favorite teams.

I've never tried the wallpaper changing programs.
