So im looking for a blackberry storm specific car cradle,
anyone know of one?
Bury makes one. It is very nice. It has a cigarette lighter adapter built in so your Storm starts charging as soon as you put it in the cradle. It also has an external antenna connection. I have both of mine hooked up to Wilson cellular boosters so that I can get cell service pretty much anywhere around here.

ProClip, can't say enough good things about it. A little pricey but worth it IMO.

80 bucks for a car charger/holder is ridiculous...
I kinda like this one, though I haven't purchased one yet so I can't say if it is actually any good or not, just looks good to me.

I agree. I've purchased a Brodit, which I think is the same as ProClip in US and it's worth it to me. I spend a lot of time in the car, and I'd rather have a secure mount that's custom made for my car, easy to reach and looks good than a suction or cupholder fitting. Just my personal view.
That's interesting, but where I am, anything with wires or mounts is an invitation to a broken window. Cops even tell folks to make sure to clean off the ring left by handheld GPS suction cup mounts. Smash and grabbers tend to look for signs of some portable electronic thing when picking a car to break in to.
So for me, a good car mount is something that is easy to take out and leave no trace
i guess you do get what you pay for... :)
