what is the best screen protector which doesn't require water?
I'm looking for some feedback here for any of you who invested in screen protectors and are happy with them.
I'm trying to avoid phantomskinz since they need water to apply.

VZW Privacy Protector or if you want something not as thick you could cut down Screen Protectors for Storm to fit.
but als the last time I checked they don't have a custom cut for the tour yet.

I have installed invisible shields on a ton of things. It really isnt that, the water that is. If that is the reason you dont want one then maybe this will make you want to reconsider.
Verizon does have the privacy screen custom for the Tour. I have it on mine.. however read this posting http://forums.crackberry.com/f141/ve...tector-265527/ to see the downfalls of it
I just wanted to say I recieved the clarivue screen protector for the 8900. It covers the screen as much as the factory screen protector with very very slight area not covered (less than 1 mm) around the borders, where there is not actually any screen. I have a phantom skins protector that i didn't use and compared the size, and it is the exact same size. Installation was very easy, and i got it on first try. there was one bubble but i very easily pushed it out with my finger. I recommend this if you don't want to use water on your phone.
With that being said, if you want a 2 pack of full body Phantom Skinz protectors for the tour, PM me. $15 shipped. I take paypal.
i know we're talking Tour here, BUT my storm has the thicker iPlop protector and i love it not only because i does record ANY finger prints, but there is 0 glare. might want to consider!
Okay, just because there are so many new people out there. I know everyone will enjoy this.

LOL is that for real? I just puked a bit.
Martin Fields makes waterless protectors. I don't think they have a Tour one yet but read the 8900 screen is the same size - but the camera stuff appears oriented differently. Although I do see someone above suggests the 8900 may be smaller?
I just ordered one from Boxwave. I have used them for years on Treos.
I'm using the "smartphone experts" screen protector and i love them more than that privacy one verizon has.
The Seidio protectors are great. Use on my Storm and Tour: Ultimate Screen Guard
No water, very durable.
This is what I bought. Waiting over a week for shipping though :(
I dont have a tour, but I use the screen protectors from ZAGG | invisibleSHIELD | iPhone, iPod Cases, Screen Protectors, Covers, Shields, Skins, Invisible Shield have on on my 8830WE and my Zune.. very scratch resistant
Exim makes very good "waterless" screen protectors. I don't know if there's a Tour version yet.
They have a store on ebay. Just search the stores for Exim and you should get it.
These are the harder type of protector.
My coworker ordered Clarivue and got 2, so free one for me! I'll report back on that after I try it tomorrow.

ScreenGuardz apply without water. They go on easy, can be removed and reapplied, and are inexpensive (15 for $10).

ordered a steinheil crystal protector from sgpstore.com. since they don't make one for the tour yet; i ordered one for the curve 8900. fits good & put it on there on my first try. (2 per package btw)
That's absolutely ridiculous and hilarious at the same time...
Buy these at target for the psp, best I've used on my last 3 bb's...cut em down, makes 4 screens in case you need an extra works easier than any to install
Quite frankly you can apply these types without water (I've done that) for the parts not on the screen...not a big deal. The only one to spray is the screen cover. I've not used Phatnom (but that's what I ordered for the tour), prior I've used Best Skins Ever and InvisibleShield. Fact is that these are the best protectors if you don't want to add ANY bulk. Otherwise, get a case...
I bought these on ebay...they are great...still have one on my phone:
LCD SCREEN PROTECTOR COVER FOR BLACKBERRY 9630 NIAGARA - eBay (item 250445423433 end time Aug-14-09 17:14:38 PDT)
however, don't let the picture trick you, the screen protector is only around the rectangular screen frame...it's cut to fit perfectly between the top and bottom lines of the screen...it doesn't extend up to the ear piece or the word "Blackberry"
