Yes that will work for your Tour battery but it's not an OEM product even though it states it. The actual BlackBerry external charger is this one

I bought a "OEM" battery for $2.65 and it work great, even thou there is no way it is "OEM".

You're right, I thought you were just asking about the external charger. As long as its the D-X1 model battery you are good to go

The thing that keeps me away from aftermarket chargers is the fact that most OEM chargers have built in circuitry that stop charging once the battery is full. Although most aftermarket chargers claim they have these capabilities, I do not trust them. They might over charge/burn out your battery. Just my opinion

okay you definately just stopped me from that purchase, but doesnt the battery stop charging itself? Or is it the charger?

what I think im going to do is just buy another OEM battery from eBay then alternate charging them overnight. then down the road I will purchase an OEM external mini charger from ebay for a nice price.

To my knowledge it's the charger that in fact stops from actually charging and maintains it at 100% level. Of course there are many people who use aftermarket and I'm sure have very little to no problems, but I always like to stay OEM even though its a steeper price. Saving a little on the charger up front may be appealing, but down the road when it comes time to needing to replace the battery isn't worth it
