Can anyone suggest a case that will not scratch my torch? I was using a Platinum series cases 34.99 from bestbuy and I took it off today and there are tiny scratches on my top bezel.
Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Epik resin case, it's soft so it can't.
Maybe cleaning the phone and the case regularly. The scratches came from the dust between phone and case.
i had the sedio innocase surface and recently took it off and too noticed small marks/nicks whatnot on the top bezel *not happy*
buying a gel/plastic one from china off of ebay for $5

RIM should just make the bezel rubber.
My otterbox seems decent. Its a hard case with a rubber insert to protect it.

I had the platinum case from bestbuy. the holster clip scratches the **** out of the top of the phone. I just ordered the AGF GRT case and it is amazing!! doesn't have the holster but still works great.
I also tried the otter box but on my phone the case pressed the mute and lock buttons at the same time which makes it so that you cant use any of the physical buttons on the phone. I took the case off several times and put it back on, sometimes it would work right for a couple minutes and then bingo, right back to being "Stuck"
the AGF case is the best one that I have come across so far. and i highly recommend using a case, the "Chrome" on the phone nicks very easily!!
ZAGG invisible shield - full body skin protector + AGF GRT case. That's what I use - phone is 4 months old and could be sold as "like new"
There are 2 holster options as well.. With the agf GRT case
1) A leather holster for the 8830 world edition fits perfectly, and the "in holster" magnet/sensor works great
2) Look for the AGF GRT "ENDO" case+holster combo. Its' a clip-in holster for the torch in the agf case. U can use it face in, or face out.
