Just posted this in another thread, but perhaps someone knows here:
Does the 9700 Commuter case come with a belt clip facility? And/or will it fit inside any of the genuine standard Blackberry 9700 belt/holster cases available? BTW I emailed Otterbox and the response wasn't very positive about a future 9700 Defender case (which I love on my 9000 esp in black/yellow!) A

DOES ANYONE USE THE INNOCASE II OR SNAP with the OEM charging pod???

The OEN charging pod will not work with the cases on it.... You can easily remove the snap and put it in the OEM charging pod. Seideo will be coming out with a charging pod that will work with their cases as well.

I don't understand the Innocase. The corners of the phone aren't even protected. If the phone gets dropped on the mute or lock button. Those buttons aren't going to press anymore...

    Otterbox Commuter Case

IMHO, hands down the best of all hard cases out there & the best that money can buy in terms of protection. To those who have mentioned that it is bulky & not a good sight to look at, I humbly beg to disagree...

There's no bulk in it. On the contrary, my 9700 is still a lot smaller & thinner compared to my 8820 even if the case is on. It even adds more solid & firm feel to my phone, as I find mine a little bit slippery in my hands. I do admit that the beauty of the 9700 is somewhat diminished due to that gorgeous chrome being hidden and all. But as a trade off, it gains ruggedness, which is not ugly at all in my opinion...

Now, if only Vaja Leather Cases would already make their Ivolution Top cases available to the 9700, I would also definitely order one. That case looks smart & perfect for that executive and corporate look, isn't it? Well, that would belong to another thread, I guess....

It seem that my choice is buying the Seidio charger and risking "possible" bezel scratches from repeated removal? What am I going to do with OEM charging pods?

The Innocase II holster works perfectly with the Commuter case, my husband uses them. He doesn't love it as much as the Defender and I guess in the case of nuclear attack his 9700 is toast since only the Defender and cockroaches will make it through that :P

I use the innocase 360 with a piece of invisible sheild protecting it's window. Seems to be a good combo, hope the case holds up...

I plan on waiting for the incipio line of cases for BB 9700 to come out. I spoke with a service representative who said it would be 2-3 weeks. Also I hope that casemate brings out a hybrid case for it also.
