Does anyone know if my 9700 accessories would fit the 9780? Because I do plan on getting a 9780 when it comes out (I'm a CB junkie and want the latest and greatest, I know, I'm crazy).

I currently have a charging pod and Otterbox Commuter. The Commuter is getting a little worn (I take it off and put it on all the time for the charging pod) and was looking at the ZAGG InvisibleShield. There's no point in buying it if it will not fit the 9780 though, and am wondering if the charging pod would work with the new device also, know in the past charging pods are not interchangeable.

Thanks in advance, no idea if anyone would have the slightest clue, figure it can't hurt to ask

Both 9700 and 9780 share the same size and dimension.
I used to have a 9700 and few accessories including its pouches and cases. Now I have sold my 9700 and switched to 9780.

The good news is all of these accessories for my previous device fit well on my 9780, yup.. including its screen protector. In conclusion, I would say that 9700 accessories definitely fit on a 9780.

All my accessories fit the same way they did on my 9700. Interesting...
