Like the phone, but battery life sucked. Purchased a Seidio 2800 mAh battery with extension cover. Then my phone started mysteriously rebooting. Difficult to replicate. Sometimes just the lightest setting down on the desk and reboot started. Other times slam it down hard and nothing. Finally figured it out. The Seidio battery does not fit tightly inside the 8530 battery compartment. I wedged a tiny piece of card stock into the compartment that forces the battery tightly against the terminal. So far it's worked.
It's a design flaw. Battery is not quite large enough to fit snugly. The power contacts on the 8530 are flexible, pushing the battery away from a secure contact. That causes an intermittent contact. One of those little annoyances in life. Glad I figured it out, I was starting to think the 8530 was defective.
