Hi all,

I want to put a skin on my verizon curve. Would the OEM blackberry skin work with the placement of the LED light?

I read that the screen protectors are not a perfect fit, was just wondering of the same holds true for these silicone skins.

also, I have the sleeve it came with as well as the oem leather vertical pouch. I tend to rotate the case, and was wondering if it would still fit inside either of them

there's 4 vzw stores by me, 3 of which don't have it. The other one has it, but it has a rubber crossbar going across the middle of the device. Is that the one you have?

im looking for one with an completely open face.

It's a BlackBerry one. My buddy let me have it. The Verizon one will also be branded with "BlackBerry" on the back of it. We just need one specifically made for an 8330.

i love the skin on my curve! I ordered mine on amazon and they are the blackberry branded ones. they fit perfectly dont add alot of bulk and allow me to keep a better hold of it!

i normally do not like verizon pouches... i feel like im giving them enough money each month, and walking around with their logo annoys me for some odd reason

Interesting. When I got one for my 8830 it was BB branded.

Ya when I got my black on yesterday, he came from the back with the wrong one (8830) and I saw there was a diffrence. My Pearl skin from verizon was branded BB, the 8330's are not. They do seem to be thinner also, but a good fit.

It's probably a cheap after market quick fix for now. I know that happened when I purchased a holster from them the day the Moto V3c came out. Was a bit disappointed.

yeah and the verizon ones cost $12 i just went to the t-mobile store and got the bb black for $10. That little cut out is not that big of a deal.

here is the one I just received from Crackberry.com. Ordered a 8330 skin but got the 8300 one.

All of my friends with the 8330 have bright colored skins they got at the VZW store that seem to fit the 8330 well.

Your cheapest and best bet is definitely eBay. The OEM skin does not cover the LED, it's actually leaves plenty of room on the top of the phone.

I know these posts are several months old but I have to tell crackberry that i'm pis&%d that I ordered a bright orange 8330 silicone skin and it has a stupid notch at the top where the LED probably is on the other curve models. THANKS! The skins are not universal curve skins.

I not only bought my skin for my 8330 from verizon, which is black with not an ounce of witting on it and all the cut outs are just perfect for the camera, led etc..........I also bought from the verizon store a screen protector that if you attempt to look at my screen from an angle all you are going to see is black. Great concept if you are sitting close to someone and don't want them looking at what you are doing.

I like this with the screen protector on it. I really want to protect the glass (plastic) on the front from scratching as much as possible.


Ahhhh, I see now, the screen protector is not in the skin, you must have purchased it separately.
