Generally, when a new device is released, how long does it take for things like skins and cases to be available for it?

Same question for applications: opera mini, bolt, games, themes etc.

A lot of the accessories will be out a few weeks before the device is released. It might be a little while before all developers make versions of their software for the Tour. Some apps will be compatible right off the bat, but some will take a while.

I've never had a brand new device like this, and never paid attention to any other launches until this one.

developers probably already have most of whats needed to make applications..

and keep in mind quite a few of the applications already out will work on the tour..


there will probably be more issues with applications working when the 5.0 os is released but most of them currently out will already work

You can already find some generic skins and covers on eBay (though I'm not sure if they're the 'best' fit.
