I just pinged a buddy (in Mississauga) who has an unlocked stl-3 that I know had a cracked screen... that he hasn't used since his z30 arrived.

I have one for parts that I bought last year. Won't start up, mount, charge, no lights - nothing. Bought it used and unlocked so no access to carrier warrantee...No water dmg or anything, just got up from working on the laptop (tethered) last november, went to my hotel room and it was toast. Perfect physical condition.
