No, its not a Maxx. It is fine as long as you turn off the wifi and GPS when you aren't using it. That is a big mistake people make about battery life. You can set things in Smart Actions too. What would you be doing on the phone all day?

Based on what I have read, the maxx is what will suit my use. I talk on blue tooth a lot throughout the day.

I'll be honest here: The Razr Maxx will probably suit you better. Plus if you are in a 4G LTE area, the battery will drain even faster. Any 4G phone will guzzle battery a lot faster
