I don't know . I was hoping you could tell me. Lol. I was wondering why an unlocked phone is worth so much more than one tied down to a specific network. I mean i know it can be used almost anywhere but im noticing the prices for unlocked are significantly higher. Im not trying to knock anyone just trying to educate myself on the differences because im in the market for a z10 and im trying to see for myself of its worth it to pay the extra money for an unlocked.
Unlocked is easier to sell as lots of people use it when traveling or even if they are switching carriers. Unlocked is always better only because you are not tied into one carrier.

Unlocked is better :). There is risk in unlocking if done incorrectly that results in the phone being forever locked go a carrier.
Plus it's darn convenient.
