Barely at all. The stock battery door is uneven. It has a little bulge at the top where the camera is. The ext batt door makes it straight the whole way thru. Actually looks and feels more normal than the oem door does lol

It doesnt make it much thicker, maybe an 1/8th an inch. There is a substantial weight difference though, but definitely worth it.
