i called and they said that since i wasnt the original buyer they wouldnt cover it, i dont know whats wrong with it, it was plugged into itunes and it turned off and that was it

They misinformed you, Apple warranties are transferable.

I had a iphone switched out when I wasnt the original owner. Apple does transfer the warranty as the abover user stated. I would take it in.

thats y i hate living in a small town the att ppl are idiots, it was just a backup i mostly used it as an ipod if anyone wants it ill still sell it dont feel like goin thru the hassle
