Basically, I'm just looking for a decent laptop for programming classes / Visual Studio and other IDEs.

Condition: Used / New / Refurbished / Well-Loved

Additional Info: I'm heading back to school for programming and need a decent laptop! Right now we are learning C# in Visual Studio but next year I'm taking an iOS and Android app development class. Goal is to teach myself to work with BB10 eventually, of course! ;-)

Yes - but someone out there may have one a bit better than what can be found for that range, or may have an old MacBook that I could run VMWARE on

I have an older Ibook G4 1.33 with a 12 inch screen, 1.5gb RAM. Everything including Wifi works. Have installed Linux Mint on it, it would be fine as a programming or office app laptop.
