Ok I am brand new to Blackberry and am trying to edit my address book.
All the telephone numbers from my old Mobile Phone have been imported to my Bold, but its labeling them all as Work contacts, which isnt true.
How can I manipulate these numbers easily on my Mac computer?
I downloaded Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac and have backed up the contacts (as a bbb file, I think).
But still finding it difficult to actually see the phone numbers and manipulate them on my computer.
    Thanks!

you would have to setup sync with desktop manager and use the Mac's address book to view/edit.

Also, if you already have your addresses in proper form within address book, I would clear the contacts on the blackberry first. That will save you a ton of time.

    Thanks so much.
I just synched all my Yahoo contacts into the Mac address book.
What do you mean by clearing contacts on the Blackberry first (what are the steps?)

I would strongly suggest having a backup somewhere! I had mine synced with my mac, and all my contacts numbers were deleted and all that was left was the name.It was VERY annoying to go through and fix this.

Yikes, no good. I'll be sure to back up before the synch.
    Thanks for the advice!
