just as an update - I had to change the mass storage mode on my blackberry and then it worked. I am using Leopard 10.5.6.

For the ones that are getting the Network Adapter to load properly, have you tried a reboot of the Mac? It shouldn't be required, but I just want to check if that helps at all.

    Yep, see below.
Also, if it helps, I have two Ethernet ports in my Mac Pro, both connected to Cat5e cables (ie. "in-use").
I also have two virtual network adapters running for Parallels.
I also have the FireWire interface enabled (not connected) and VPN enabled (not connected).

Never heard of this... is it required?
Nope, not required. It would just give me details of how your Mac sees the BlackBerry so that I can see if something looks different than on all the systems I've tested it with.

    Thanks

Can you expand the Device Descriptor under the BlackBerry and the Configuration Descriptor. Please remove your Serial ID before posting.

Nope, it's not showing up but, I can enable it manually.
I enabled manually and it says the cable for en6 is not plugged in?

I can see the USB connection to the BB is working though media cards show up on desktop and system profiler -> USB shows a BB connected.

    Tried restarting, but nothing.

What is the Status field on the Mac side saying?
    Connecting...

Then, a message pops up that says "Internet Connect - A modem error occurred. Please verify your settings and try again."

I see a "com.rim.driver.BlackBerryUSBDriverInt".... can you try to sudo kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/BlackBerryDriverInt.kext?

    Connecting...

Then, a message pops up that says "Internet Connect - A modem error occurred. Please verify your settings and try again."
There is no "Connecting" message displayed through the code with TetherBerry on the Mac.... are you launching TetherBerryGUI?

Can you check the /System/Library/Extensions folder in Finder and see if you can see anything that starts with BlackBerry? If so, try to unload that kext file.

Oops. Sorry. I was looking at the network connections. TetherberryGUI says "Failed to load the Blackberry device".
