My son is looking to purchase a storm through Verizon. His work has an exchange server and outlook. He has a macbook. currently he forwards meeting requests to his windows mobile phone and accepts the ICS file to add ti to the calendar.

Is there a was using only BIS no BES that he can either sync the calendar from outlook to the blackberry or forward the emails to the blackberry and accept the ICS invites to populate the BBcalendar.

He also said that mac just released an operating system that will allow Ical on Mac to directly sync with exchange over the internet. If this is the case is there a way to wirelessly sync the mac with BBstorm over verizon?

Okay let's break this down into parts.
The new OS for mac is not due until september which is Snow Leaopard.
iPhone's new OS is 3.0 which supports exchange etc.

To sync the BB to the Mac you will need pocket mac which stinks...or missing sync which uses Bluetooth to sync (works great btw).

To do a wireless sync with BB google sync is the way to go if you do not have BES (which I see you don't).

Or lastly he can use VM Ware or Bootcamp on his mac and sync to outlook that way.

    Hope that helps.....
