    Ok..

So im a mac user and a former iphone user...

    Heres my question....

If i ever wanted to make my own ringtone...i just opened garageband...loaded song...edited it to the place i wanted....then there was a spot to export it as a ringtone to itunes...and it would save it as a m4r file..

now from what i can tell m4r's wont work on the blackberry...

will mp3's work on the blackberry if i just drop them on the sd card?

    Thanks for your help..

I use Audion to make my own ringtones from my iTunes library. Download it for free. Google it to find the site.

You copy a song into its editor and you can cut out exactly the piece of the song you want and save it.

Then I use mark/space Blackberry Sync to upload the file to my BB.

Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder

Then just plug your phone in and drop it into the ringtone folder...

What is the best way to convert your song from AAC to the proper format? I believe I have changed the format before but screwed up the song.
