try launching it without the bb tethered to the computer.

    Then quit the program.

Then re plug in via the usb and then relaunch.

    This may help.

Ok, let's try this. When you uninstalled pocketmac did you follow these instructions. Using just the Uninstall command in the pocketmac subfolder will not delete all the hidden files.

Do the following steps and then reload from the BB website.

I'll check back shortly to see how you made out.

To uninstall PocketMac for BlackBerry smartphones, complete the following steps:

-Log in to the Macintosh computer with an account that has administrator-level permissions.
-Open the hard drive icon on the computer.
-From the left menu bar, select Applications, and then open PocketMac Sync Manager.
    -Click Uninstall PocketMac.
When prompted to continue uninstalling PocketMac, click Yes.
When the uninstall process is complete, click Quit.
Open the hard drive icon on the computer.
Select the Users folder. The current user is indicated by the Home icon.
Click the Home icon to continue.
Open the Library folder, and then open the Preferences folder.
    Delete the PocketMacBlackberry.plist file.
    Delete the PocketMacAdvancedPreferenceData.plist file.
    Delete the PocketMacSyncManager.plist file.
Open the Library folder, and then open the Application Support folder.
Delete the PocketMac and PocketMacSyncManager folders.

Doing this now thanks. Problem is all I see for the plist files are:
    PocketMacBlackberry.plist
    PocketMacSyncManagerOEM.plist

Im going to delete them both...

Make sure you delete them out of your trash can.

Then restart your computer. Then they will be completely gone.

if you follow all the instructions it should delete all the files.

Okay well now the App works thanks.

Should I download the drivers, since I have the 9530?

    No problem.

I myself wouldn't download the drivers if the sync is working.

    Is it?

I have tried everything that everyone is suggesting. Reinstalled several times. Still will not launch PocketMac...but I don't have to force quit. I'm using a MacBook Pro...running on 10.5.4. What now! PLEASE HELP! I've spent way too much time!
