Anybody else have this problem? I've successfully sync'ed my 8310 and my MacBook Pro before, but today, it seemed like the progress bar gets about 60% across, and then stops indefinitely. I left it for at least fifteen minutes with no progress. I only had it set to sync calendar and contacts, so I unchecked calendar and tried again. Same thing. Unchecked contacts, so now I'm syncing nothing. Same result.

Any idea what's up, and what I could try? I really just want to copy some pictures off of it, but it appears that the "Browse Device Files and Folders" doesn't un-grey unless the sync completes?

    Thanks,

    Sean

Read this post Syncing your Curves with Pocket Sync! and it should clear up your problems.

To add to what's in that post be sure to download the updated driver also which is located below the pocketmac download.

Also be sure to set the default on the BB to yes for mass storage device. Otherwise if you don't when the prompt shows up your BB it disconnects from your mac.

    Hope this helps.

I'm using Pocket Mac cause Missing Sync caused dupes in my Calendar on BB. Deleted all entries and was trying to overwrite BB from iCal. Looking at log it looks like all entries will be put on but it hangs right here. I've tried everything on this site (great site BTW) with no luck. Have the update from Pocket Mac. Help.

CZeph - I'm having the exact same problem as you - also tried everything on this forum and nothing works. Interestingly, didn't have a problem updating my contacts, just the calendar...

CZeph - maybe try reinstalling PocketMac...again.... Did this for the umpteenth time last night, and my syncs are currently working. (We won't get into the fact that I have 2 different email addresses, so that every event is now being entered in my BB calendar 2x - once for each email address..sigh...)

I've reinstalled for the 4th time now. So my BB and iCal was working until I decided to test input some event on my BB and overwrite the mac. What a mistake - everything is gone from the mac (except birthdays which carried over from the address book). Luckily they're still on my Pearl. RIM better hurry with either a desktop manager or get iSync working for us!

Ok guys when you uninstall PM from your Mac be sure to spotlight search for all the PM files, delete them and restart your Mac.

Now go to BB site to download and install PM, download and install the updated driver, now restart your Mac.

Now go to your BB set the mass storage default to yes. Connect your BB to your Mac before opening PM (this step must be done every time you sync).

Set your PM settings, now you're ready to sync your BB.

I can't even install pocketmac for some reason. I had it, deleted it because it didn't work correctly, now when I try to install it again, it starts off fine, then randomly another pocketmac installer opens up and trys to install at the same time. When the second one opens it screws both installations up and this happens every time. Anyone have any ideas to why this happens?
