I have the first generation iMac G5 (white monitor) and it's still alive and kicking. Armed with 10.5.8 (Leopard) I have not run into any issues as far as functionality or crashes. (Crossing fingers). It's refreshing to see that RIM is realizing that the
Mac community is worth paying attention to as they are creating software to improve the compatibility as well as sync-ability of our Macs with their Blackberries.

I switched to  six months ago and I will never own another PC. Mine is a 13 inch aluminum MacBook (before they attached the "Pro" on the end) 250 GB HD; 2.4 GHz. She's my beauty! Just got a starter 'Berry...the 8220 Pearl Flip, and already trading up to a 8900 (cuz SureType drives me to distraction!). I have tried to back up and sync with both PocketMac and with the DM for Mac, but the syncing always fails. I have spent countless hours trying to figure it out (I REALLY rather not have to use the BFs PC to do it ). I'm seriously considering Missing Sync....don't mind spending money if it's gonna work.

I digress.....I LOVE !!!! And I LOVE BB, so I will get them to get along if it kills me!

I'm running a 24" iMac, 4gb of ram, 2.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo intel processor.

its my first mac, and IM NEVR GOING BACK to winBLOWS

this is also my first berry (first cell actually) and what could possibly be better!!! (except iPhone XD APPLE ALL THE WAY)

I've got the new BB Bold 9000 in white

I sync my berry with BB desktop manager for mac, works GREAT for contacts, calendars and music but it sucks that BB-D-M doesn't sync videos or pictures.. so I'm forced to to just drag them over onto my media card using finder.

    any alternatives??

The main issue most people seem to have is the 'blackberry desktop folder' in their mac library. Deleting this and and having a phone with empty contacts and address book seems to be almost a requisite. It also helps to have only one calendar on your mac.
    1. Navigate to <User>/Library/Application Support/
    2. Delete the BlackBerryDesktop folder.
    3. Empty the Trash Bin.
    4. Restart BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Do your sync again, and it should work.

 Bought my 13-in Macbook Pro the day before Thanksgiving because my HP kept giving me the bsod and I had four, 10-pg. papers left to write. Never enjoyed all-nighters so much lol.  Granted, I don't use it to do much with my blackberry because I have tetherberry...and it doesn't play well with anything else lol. But whatever

I have a Storm2 on Verizon. I have a question, can BB DM sync my calendar appointments with my iCal? If not is there another way? Would love to be able to sync them with bluetooth.

    Thanks
