First time BB user, just picked up a Curve last night. I have both an imac and macbook so I'm looking forward to getting them all to work together as nice (or close to) as they do w/ my iPod Touch.

MacBook Pro 2.4 15" (17" is too large to carry around, you end up looking like an a$$hole with a huge computer)(Sorry to my 17" family members....LOL)
Blackberry 8330, and Mac Sync....(Which is garbage.... and I absolutely hate it!!!)

is there any program that will support the Curve using a new IMAC?
From what I heard from Apples rep. They are in a match between Iphone and Blackberry's and we are all the losers.

I am new to using a Mac (I have a MacBook Pro running 10.5.6 OS X), and I do love it, but I am having no end of trouble syncing my Blackberry 8320 to the Mac. I am running Windows thru' Parallels on the Mac and it doesn't like that either. I have doubled up calendar entries all through my Blackberry calendar (esp birthdays and rucurring dates) - do you have any ideas that will help the syncing situation?

aye every one. My buddy got me into Mac's with their ease of use but back then (03-04) they were using the crappy PPC chipset but once they went to intel i jumped on board and bought my self a shiny (still is) Mac Pro dual core 2.0, soon going to upgrade the processors though; for those interested heres a write up on how to...pm me because i only have 1 (two including this one and i need ten)

I've also owned 2 blackberries a a curve for about 2 years and just purchased a Storm for 0$ (well 15 cuz i wanted it next day)

I bought the I-Mac 24" screen in July last year and bought the MacBook Air at the same time. I am so totally addicted to Mac and Apple software now that it seems like going back to the dark ages when I use my Dell laptop at work. I also have the I-Touch and the Nano I-Pod. I wanted to get the I-Phone but I found out that AT&T service in my area sucks. So, I got the BB curve 8330 about 2 weeks ago. I absolutely love it, with the exception that I have to install additional software to make it user friendly with my mac. I did install pocketmac and it does an ok job for free software. I was reading about "The missing sync for blackberry" and it sounds like it would make life much easier for photos and music syncing. Does anyone have this software and if so, do you recommend it?

Most people that have it wouldn't recommend it.

I converted to 'mac' about 2 years ago, and will never go back. I feel so much more in control of my computer now, than I did with the windows. I just dont like the syncing.. it seems to give me problems.  Wow, thanks for teaching me how to make the apple symbol! What other 'tricks' do you have to share?

I have the same problem with pocket mac. My apple does not sync or recognize it, but I do see the hard drives on my desk top, so I just dragged songs into my memory card. There has to be a better way. How do you use google calendar with this?

I'm totally in concurrence with this post. Being a Mac user with a Blackberry addiction is terrifying! Fortunately I was able to pick up a Dell to handle all my Blackberry modification needs. Besides that, still a hardcore Mac user.
