    Mac OS X Users:

Apple has just released the 10.5.7 update. I remember reading somewhere that this update includes bluetooth networking improvements. Would anyone like to try bluetooth tethering with the latest blackberry OS, see if its successful and post the results?

You can try, but this method of any tethering without the proper plan can cause many overage rates.

You can always do that with Missingsync for Blackberry.. It's not a free program though but probably the best DM replacement program on mac. Don't bother with pocketmac, that program is just retarded and a waste of time

The PPPD that comes with 10.5.7 is the exact same binary as comes with 10.5.6. As such, bluetooth tethering does not work for everyone.

The patched pppd binary from csete in the following post however, does fix the issue with tethering. BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND DONT ATTEMPT THIS IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING OR HOW TO RECOVER FROM IT!!!
