    Newbie here.
I think I have every app available that I want on my phone, all that's left are games
And I am sick of looking for ota links

I notice that the games I have are .jad files
    When I am installing ota.

When installing not useing ota, are the files still .jad?

Where do I put these files on my bb?
Do I need software to load them?
    Is the software free??

I have an imac osx 10.x

Plus is it possible to find games say on limewire?

    .jad is OTA...
Other then that you need XP or Vista on the Mac.

When installing via the computer and not OTA, the files are not .jad.
You need Desktop Manager which is free, but only available to Windows.

What specific version of OSX are you on? 10.5 and above have this program built-in called Boot Camp which allows you to run Windows as well as Mac, on your Mac by partitioning your harddrive. If you're not on Leopard (10.5+) you can use other programs like Parallels or VMware fusion (I might be slightly off on the name of this one) which lets you run Windows in the Mac OS without needing to partition your harddrive.

I got my computer free from my wife father, he refurbishes them, thus I am not greedy in asking him to add xp, he has only 1 mac out of 20 that runs xp, thus I thought you could only do it with certain macs.
The mac we have is probably on its last leg anyways

    savioAMG- I have
    Mac os x 10.4.11
    500 MHz powerpc g3

Too bad, I was really hoping for a solution which didn't involve microsoft

That computer won't run XP in Bootcamp.
    Sorry.
    Windows is the ONLY way....

If You have got an email account on Your Mac: Send the .jad files as email attachment to Your BB.

Or upload them to an internet site and mail Yourself the link.

if it's .jad, you can also just send it and the .cod using bluetooth, and open it from media>explore, make sure they are in the same folder though, then you can open it and install the app

I have gotten games for my storm off of the pirate bay. So i dont see why you couldnt, if people are up loading them. pocketmac DOES install applications. it just sucks tweaking it to finally getting it to work. I am not sure if missing sync does or not. xxfire is right that XP, Vista or even parrelles will not work on your mac, they need the intel processors which is a bummer, because it is the easiest solution. For .jar files, you can e-mail them or transfer to your media card are also good solutions. but as far as games you would buy or get off of limewire/torrents, they probably dont have the .jad files. therefore, your going to have to tweak pocketmac, but it does install apps. which brings me to my next question... are there any programs for mac to build .jad files with .cod files? so you can just transfer/e-mail them?

ps.... switch to torrents... limewire is a thing of the past.
