Mac OS X does not use Desktop Manager, but a variant of it that does not have similar features, nor is it developed by RIM. It's called PocketMac, is free, is not made by RIM but IS supported by RIM, and works like a charm. In it, you can install programs of your choosing. One caveat, PocketMac does not support Bluetooth syncing with the BB (yet, so PocketMac developers say), but it is still free and very reliable at the least. Go to the Blackberry website and you can download PocketMac there. If you need further help, feel free to post back. Welcome to Crackberry and enjoy your first BB!
