Weird.. you'd think a question about video converting like I asked above would be easily and quickly answered on this forum, but somehow, I don't think i'm going to get my answers!!

So people on this forum are using this.. surely someone has tried and can answer my 2 previous questions

    1. If I rip a dvd formatted for itunes, will that play on the storm?

    2. Can it play movies purchased from itunes?
I believe if you rip a DVD it will play on the Storm. I vaguely remember a thread on this site discussing this. You may want to do a search or look through the How-To Forum. No sure on the movies question-sorry.

I transferred a music video I originally purchased via Itunes to my Blackberry Bold with no problems but do not have any videos ripped to Itunes to answer your original question.

For the few minutes it takes to download & install the program, I suggest you try it out.

i downloaded double twist, but i guess it is pointless if you havent removed the DRM on the movies. thats the only real reason why i would have wanted it.

THe nice thing with DoubleTwist is you don't have to worry about video formats and the such, it does the encoding on the fly to what the device can read and vice versa. Later versions are supposed to rip DRM of (ala what DVD Jon always wanted to do) supposedly.

It's just a simple way of taking your media and putting in onto your device, no worrying about the small details.

Can you transfer full movies like Dark Knight to your Blackberry?
It has a 10 minute limit on video files, so no full movies at the moment.

One cool thing is that you can drag a YouTube URL straight to your dT media library and place it on your phone or mobile media device -- then send it to a pal if you like. No muss, no fuss. Pretty cool. It snags whatever format YT has the clip in and downloads that, then converts it to your phone's format needs if necessary.

Am I missing a step? I DL'ed DT, clicked on the registration link in the e-mail. I connect my Storm with the USB however, DT doesn't see the BB. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Does DT conflict with Missing Sync v2.0?

(like PocketMac conflicts with Missing Sync)

Morfy, not that I am aware. It's the iTunes of BB- focus on media.

correct. doubleTwist does not do calendar and contacts syncing at this point in time. It's all about media. music, video and images.
