When I attempt to sync itunes to my blackberry, the media manager incorrectly reports that the media card is full. How can I get media manager to re-read the card and realize that it is actually empty?

Try emptying the trash while your BB is connected and the card is mounted to the desktop. If you deleted items from your card at some point without emptying the trash can, the files were never fully removed. Hope this helps.

Well you need to make sure that when you are disconnecting your device from your Mac, that you eject the media card. If you do not properly eject the card, it will corrupt your data and card, which would require a reformat to fix the issues. If you are worried about this reoccuring, turn off the Auto Enable Mass Storage support and just turn it on, when you are for sure going to be moving files back and forth.

I recommend removing your card, then put it back in. Then try to connect.
