I have a Mac and am wondering if anyone knows how to get the software update for my BlackBerry pearl flip. The download from TMobile only works with Windows. Is there a way to get it through PocketMac?

    Thanks...

BTW, Download Manager doesn't work with Macs, and is not included on the software cd that came with my blackberry (at least I couldn't find it)

I think you would have to use bootcamp or parallels or something.

It's still a Windows-only thing. We Mac users have few choices. Boot Camp or VMware will run Windows and allow you to use the Blackberry Desktop Manager software. Parallels will not.

What I do is keep an old IBM ThinkPad X31 around specifically for phone stuff. Nokia, Motorola, Blackberry, Sony-Ericsson, whatever. When I upgrade my Mac I'll probably go with VMware and run Windows XP through that, but for now the old ThinkPad gets it done. Barely, but it works.
