    Anyone done or doing this?

Seems like it would fill the void until RIM releases the DM for Mac.

    Not the same.
Sync your iCal and AddressBook; not.

Works well, but iCal and Address Book don't sync, as they're in a format that Outlook can't import.

It would be great if we could export our address book and iCal events to a file, then import that file into Outlook, for syncing purposes, but that's not possible, at least as far as i've found (and believe me, I've tried).

Using the Windows version of DM does work great for backups and OS upgrades/installs, and for adding apps that aren't available OTA though.

Actaully if you have a mobile me account you can do a full sync in bootcamp. Whilst in bootcamp open up your windows mobileme options, then sync your mobileme cloud (bookmarks ical address book etc etc) with your windows partition and then sync your berry
Mobile me will ask which programs you want to sync your address book and calendar with, just hit outlook.
As I say all this is only if you have a mobileme account, I have used and am currently using this method, works well.

    Hope this helps.
