    Also, that is the only way until Desktop Manager for MAC gets released in the very near future.

    It depends.

    There is no way to do this using the mac specifically.

    How old is your mac?

    The new Macs come with a bootcamp setup already installed on them. But if yours is more than a couple years old it may not contain the software.

    Do you have any friends or close relatives with PCs? If so use theirs to update your OS or other software using DM.

    Otherwise you need to install one of the programs listed above (Bootcamp, parallels etc) and have a copy of windows and mac OS's available.

    Make sure you follow directions closely and backup all of your files.

    And I may be wrong, but I heard a rumor that RIM was FINALLY releasing DM software for macs sometime this fall, so you could wait for that if you want.
