i don't know either. I tried on both my computers (one's a MBP, the other a "hackintosh"), and both displayed the same behavior. BB1 and BB2 both showed up on the second plug after hitting no on the first plug.

again, does what are in your console messages window when you attach the storm ?

When you attach the storm, it should show new devices attaching and any errors associated. Its the first place to start diagnosing it tbh..

definitely is an issue inside 10.5.6. I have a mac at my office running 10.5.5 and both bb1 and bb2 come up on the desktop instantly. move it to my MBP running 10.5.6 and only bb2 comes up. It's a real drag not being able to use missing sync.

I had the same experience as ClintAustin: Hitting "no" for the first time, than reconnect, hit yes, and BB1 AND BB2 showed up.

@darkone338: Thanks for Your advice. Next time I connect my BB to the mac, I will have the console running und will try to catch the console information.

Ok I tried hitting no on the first prompt and yes on the second and I was amazed to see both drives show up for the first time in month.

However that was short lived as PocketMac still wouldn't work.
It said "error: skipping" and my blackberry pin isn't showing up in PocketMac.

    Sync log shows this:

    Ok this is weird.

I'm running .103 on my Storm and I just turned on Mass Storage on it to see what would happen. I have Missing Sync and I've synced plenty of times with no issues.

So on the first connection I selected yes on the first prompt to turn on Mass Storage. Both BB1 and BB2 came up with no issues.

Then I ejected them in this order: BB1 and then BB2 and tried it again and on the first prompt I selected yes and only BB2 came up. I ejected BB2 and tried again.

This time I said no to the first prompt and yes to the second prompt and then BB1 and BB2 came up. So then I ejected both of them in this order: BB2 and then BB1.

Then I plugged in and said yes to the first prompt and they both came up. So I eject the two in this order: BB2 then BB1 and then try to plug in again and I only get BB2.

So I eject and do the no on prompt 1 and yes on prompt 2 and BB1 and BB2 show up.

So I've gone through this like 20 times and it just goes like that.

Yes on pmt 1 and they both show up.
    Eject.
No on pmt 1 and yes on pmt 2 and they both show up.
    Eject.
Yes on pmt 1 and they both show up.

So now I just say to myself, "Just hit no on pmt 1 every time and pmt 2 will get you both of them."
    Not so much

When it's (pmt 1 and you get them both)'s turn, when you say no to the pmt 1, there is no pmt 2.

So I unplug and then plug in again and say yes on pmt 1 and both BB1 and BB2 show up.

So now I'm getting p***ed because this makes no sense.

So then I just figure that if I just hit no on pmt 1 every time and yes on pmt 2 then I'll be fine. If there is not pmt 2 then I'll unplug and then plug in again and then hit yes on pmt 1 and that should work.....

    IT DOES!

    So in a nut shell:

Always hit no on pmt 1.
If you get a pmt 2, then hit yes and they'll both show up.
If you don't get a pmt 2, then just unplug and plug in again and hit yes on pmt 1.

That should do it. I've tried it like 20 times and it works fine. I can even do a sync using Missing Sync and everything is still there. After you sync with Missing Sync though, it will eject both BB1 and BB2, that's normal.

I know this is long and confusing but I hope that it helps you guys out there as I know it did for me.

Last night i heard reports of 10.5.6 not recognizing Blackberry 1 (internal memory) on the Blackberry Storm. So, I ran the 10.5.6 update (yes, last i know) and tested this and can no longer get my Mac to recognize Blackberry 1. I checked disk utility and it doesn't recognize BB1 at all.

Does anyone have a solution for this?
    Don,

I believe this actually happened after the v4.7.0.75 OS was released. I had been running OS X v10.5.6 long before I bought my Storm and both BLACKBERRY1 & BLACKBERRY2 were showing up in .65.

Possibly a CL UNIX command will do the trick?

I've been following the pattern that I posted earlier and it is still working just fine.

Tomorrow I'll be moving on to .109 on my 9530 and I'll post results of how it behaves.

Not off the top of my head anymore Don. I'll have to look at some man pages (I think it's for mountd if you're up to it before me). Too many other things filling my head since my CL days.

I don't always get two prompts either. I have no idea why. Sometimes one prompt come up and I hit ok but both volumes will mount. It just seems random so far.

I've upgraded pocket mac with no luck, can't see my 9530 Storm. I've tried using DM in XP using parallele but no luck there either. XP can see my berry but cannot connect. I think I may create an XP partition using boot camp to see if that will work. I use XP at work so I used that to upgrade to .109. I had other issues with the upgrade but all is well now. Well worth the hassle to go from .103 to .109. It looks like it is very close.

I was unable to sync my storm via USB on Missing Sync 2.0, however I am able to sync it via bluetooth without any issues. This works for me because I hate plugging my phone in to get it sync'd
