Well too bad I have a Mac (so no 'leaked' goodness) and my carrier is pathetic when it comes to any mention of when they may release an OS upgrade. I'm sick of this & think its a key issue for Blackberry - eg iOS is not controlled by carriers like Blackberry is grr.
Threads like this are like seeing wrapped Christmas presents that you can't open yet!

Have you heard of Bootcamp? Run that on your Mac to get Windows and you can install through that.

And just fyi, from one perspective you are correct, the OFFICIAL OS's for the respective carriers are controlled by the carriers, but that doesn't stop anyone or should it yourself from installing another carrier's official OS nor does it stop anyone from installing leaked OS's. And even with the "carrier limitation" it's as simple as deleting a vendor.xml file. So if you compare that to what you said, BB OS's are not limited/controlled entirely by the carriers, unless your are by the book and MUST have your respective carrier's outdated OS updates.

In the spirit of the holidays, "Do you see...what I see...?"

I'm about to load this leak, but I've never noticed it before, and in the 7.1 leak I noticed there was a bloatware from T-Mobile called BBCequinID or something which was their "Caller ID" feature which shows you the location the call is coming from, $3.99 additional per month by the way. So I looked in the folder in this leak for it, noticed the WLAN Hotspot COD but I doubt it is actually the hotspot COD since it appears so small. We'll see.

Does this build fix the social feeds app? When I look at social feeds and then use the back button to close the program it won't work, I have to mulit-task to something and then back to social feeds, then it works fine.

Prepaid customers /post to check the balance or details abt billing we need punch *111# for eg depends on networks which will always makes my phone freeze Nd need a reboot/Battery pull on 7.1 Build. Those who have done 585 please try this and share/comment.

So far not good. Was on .540 and resting battery drain was 0.5% now is 3.5%. Also getting errors using tapatalk now. Also when one row of icons is showing and you scroll down with the trackpad the other rows don't jump up anymore you have to tap the bar to make them. I'm switching back to .540.

What are you talking about, I'm using .585 and when I scroll down with the trackpad on my one rowed Icons, it does open the other rows as well. U just gotta keep scrolling down til it does. This build is fine.

Really? For me other way around... the leaked OS 7.1 is great with no performance issues at all. The browser is faster than ever. The only issue I came across was the touch screen sometimes stop responding, but it happens once every week or so.

Are you special or just misread the thread title? This one says 7.0 not 7.1 if you want to cry and complain about OSs, go to your mom. These are leaked OSs provided to you out of the generosity of others.

I'm back at .540. Maybe I didn't try scrolling down enough but that is minor. Drain at idle is way higher with .585 I left my phone off it's charger overnight and it was showing 3.5% this morning. .540 only drained at an amazing 0.5% for me. Also tapatalk started giving errors with new posts. I had to back all the way out of the forms and then back in to get my post to show up. This does not happen with .540.
