Anyone from Brazil is able to help me out? My Girlfriend stays 4 weeks in Brazil and I want to stay in contact with her. Can anyone recommend a Pay As You Go SIM-Package with about 300MB data?

She has a BlackBerry Curve 9320, which is unlocked.

    Thanks in advance.

    Peter

Now, is there anyone here from Brasil... hmmm...

I'm taking it has to be a PAYG BIS plan?

VIVO has VIVO On - R$9,90 one time charge - 30 days - 3G speeds going 1-3mbps depending which city she goes to - up to 200mb (then you go... *drumroll* to 128kbps speed - you don't pay extra for data, but you get slugpaced access). Last I checked all BlackBerry apps but the Browser would work but this could have changed.

TIM has Infinity - R$0,50/day of use. We know BlackBerry devices are always on, so it's and expected R$ 15. 10mb/day and 300mb/month. 300kpbs speeds till you hit the bump and slug to 50kbps. She'll have to contact TIM and let them know she has a BlackBerry to have the right Infinity activated.

Claro has 2 BlackBerry offerings on PAYG -> 15 days, R$11,90, 50mb (I'm assuming 500kbps) all access to BlackBerry apps and Browsing. The other is the same, but R$ 19,90, 30 days and 100mb.

I don't care about OI. They suck anyway.

The SIM card usually goes for R$10.

Thank you very much. It would be no problem to get a SIM for a tourist?

Tell her to take a friend with her just in case they want a local ID number.
