    Hello!

I should be receiving my bold any day now in the mail.

I have never had a blackberry before, and currently trying to do some research and figure out how to navigate my way around.

I realize the with this phone, you have the ability to download themes. What does a theme actually do? It seems that it changes the appearence of the home screen, by changing the icon layout.

    What else does it do?

    TIA

(Not related - could anyone tell me how to add a signature to my posts?)

Pretty much, different look, different feel, can have integrated hot keys, as well as different icon sets.

A Theme is nothing more than a change to the User Interface on the Blackberry.

For the signature, click on the UserCP link (Control Panel), then Edit Signature, and you will see it. You must do this from the HTML site, which means it's best done from the PC not a device.
