I'm asking this in the newbies forum so I don't feel like I look ignorant
In desktop manager, I assumed that the "Switch Device" function meant only from one BB to another. I just read a post in another thread that suggested that someone use it to transfer data from a Palm device to a BlackBerry. That's a daunting task, as I understand it--can the DM really do that? If so, what other platforms are supported?

Switch Device wizard supports Palm and Windows Mobile devices. For more info, see the Desktop Manager help itself.

Yes it can. It is supposed to work with most if not all Smartphone/PDA platforms..
