A very nice man at Verizon support told me about crackberry...score one for Verizon...

This is my first BB, ( see I'm learning the lingo already

My problem, I live in a rural area, coverage for internet access is 0 until I get out of town a few miles...

My question.. can I use my PC to get the BB online?

    Thanks!

    This is a great site

Congrats on your BB and welcome to CB!!

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking - you want to go online (like browse the web?) on your BB and want to use your PC to enable that? Why wouldn't you just use the PC?

If you had a model with wi-fi ( yours doesn't) you could use your home net work to go online. I'm not sure that you can or why you would want to do what your asking. Unless I'm misunderstanding your question.

    Welcome to the addiction

If you had a got a BB with WIFI you could of set up some type of router, but beyond that I don't know of any other way.

    Welcome to Crackberry!

CDMA (Verizon) model Curves do not have WIFI access.

I'm assuming you want data for the BB features. Unfortunately, it would not be possible. The 8320 is the only capable Curve that can do so (provided you have a wireless router or cable that is connected to your router.) T-mobile carriers this model and hopefully sometime this month, AT&T will as well.
