Heyas, Is it reads, im a new user and owner of a Storm. Can someone please take the time to explain or post a link to somewhere which explains how to open an email attachment.
I have installed word (etc) to go, updated to current version (non Platinum) and when I try an open a word or excel document the message "This attachment type cannot be viewed on your device".
You may have to ask the provider. I have the platinum version documents to go and and depending on the version of the document my phone will not open either. Save your word to 97-2003 computability mode and try it. it may be Word 07 causing the issue.
i used to be able to open them as well. i saved a document and sent it to a mailing list which i am on and i still could not open it. The document was saved to word 97-2003. I did not know about word to go and will try that now.
