    Howdy Folk!

I purchased my BB Passport during the Black Friday sale and have been learning ever since. I sold my Samsung Galaxy S5 Active for this phone as it looked very interesting from the Amazon reviews.

For the past month, I've been trying to find every and any excuse to return the device before I'm stuck with it. I even went as far as ordered a OnePlus with an invite thinking that it might be the "more perfect" device.

Nope, I canceled my order last night and have fully committed to this phone. BB10 is such a useful and smooth OS. Its really a shame that the masses can't experience it as there's no lag and the gestures are soo useful.

Battery life is phenomenal, the Hub is super efficient, and after downloading a new FB messaging app as well as a few others, I have almost all the connectivity I had before (no Google Hangouts, but that is okay).

Cases....I ordered the BB hard case and the Sedio case. Honestly, the Sedio is bulky to me. The BB hard case is nice, but users are claiming scratching (which I don't want). I have ordered the TPU Amzer (?) case last week and I'll try that out. Surely one of them will be the best fit.

So far, my real only regrets are the time wasted looking for the "perfect" solution (Because I'm holding it) and not ordering the Red version. That just looks cool. Oh well, at least I got mine cheaper!

Thanks again to everyone who's a regular here. I've been reading for two months and learning from everyone. I especially appreciate Cobalt who's doing some very selfless work making the Android applications work for the BB. I know folks don't like the Android Runtime, but without it, I would not own the device.

Thanks and look forward to helping where I can. I show this thing off to anyone who wants to see it!

Thanks! I appreciate the welcome and helpfulness! The Passport is really a great device and the OS is quite fun to use.

Is there a setting that will automatically open addresses in the Map program when you click on then from the browser? I've found the search engine tends to default to the in-browser maps instead of going to the BlackBerry map propgram.

Welcome to Crackberry! Hope you enjoy your Passport. As another user who moved from laggy Android to smooth BB10, I hope your experience is as nice as mine.

I've been using the Q10 happily for the last 1.5 years.
